Chef Su Livingston

Su cooked the most delicious meal for us! She was so friendly and kind too. The bbq mains we had were delicious, as well as the salads and the potatoes. She also made the best tiramisu and chocolate mousse for pudding. The kitchen was spotless afterwards. I would definitely recommend Su! Nothing was too much trouble. She did a wonderful job, and everyone was very very happy with the food.

Chef Su was above and beyond our hopes for this event. We had a special occasion for which we wanted a private chef since there were kids who would have not lasted a long meal in a restaurant (4 and 8). Having this event at home with the attentive, kind and considerate Chef Su could not have been more perfect. The kids' meals were perfect, the adult meals would have cost a fortune in a restaurant for the kind of quality we were served and the service itself was impeccable. Chef Su kept everything clean, in order and on time. She adjusted to the kids and was super nice and attentive throughout. We very highly recommend Chef Su and thank her for making what was already a special event even more so (50th wedding anniversary with kids and grandkids - group of 11).

Su was a great addition to our ski week in Chamonix! She was communicative, attentive, and very personable. We enjoyed conversing with her and wish she could have stayed for more meals! The food was perfection! We especially loved the wine choices and the beef dinner. Thank you!

We hired Chef Su for a special at home birthday celebration. We asked for fusion of Asian and European dishes, and she delivered over four courses. We appreciated the variety and pace, and the cooking was exquisite. We were appreciative that she was flexible with changes in timing of service, which was possible by staying in touch throughout the lead up and day of the event. Would recommend hiring Chef Su!

Su was absolutely amazing. Her food the same. We chose multiple Indian and Thai dishes over the nights she cooked for us and everything was 10/10. Super lovely person, engaging and accommodating to our requests. Can’t wait to see you again!

Chef Su prepared a delicious and beautiful meal for our large group of 11, and even prepared gourmet meals for our little ones! The food was outstanding, elevated and aesthetically pleasing. You could tell she used quality produce and meat. She even took the extra step to make a gorgeous table with candles, flowers and place settings. She was extremely attentive to us, our guests’ dietary restrictions, and left the place spotless!

Su created a fantastic 30th wedding celebration. From planning to execution, Su was a true professional and amazing chef. Her cuisine was delectable and desserts were divine. We would highly recommend her to anyone. Only regret was not having her prepared more of our meals while in St. Maxime.

First time user of this service and couldn’t be happier with both the platform and the chef we chose. Chef Su was perfect- it was a very small kitchen and yet she managed extraordinarily well making dinner for 13 of us on 2 different nights. We had a Thai night and a European cuisine night. I can’t decide which was my favorite. Come hungry as there was a lot of food- we made good use of the leftovers. She was super friendly and knowledgeable, next time we are back - we are definitely using her again. 5 stars.

Su’s Cuisine Review Su’s Cuisine was an absolute highlight of our stay. Over three nights, Su prepared three incredible three-course meals at our chalet, and each evening was a culinary delight! The first night featured authentic and flavorful Thai dishes that instantly transported us to Southeast Asia. On the second night, she treated us to a beautifully curated European menu, and on the final evening, her Indian dishes were nothing short of spectacular—rich in flavor and perfectly spiced. What made the experience even better was Su’s flexibility and attentiveness to our needs. She effortlessly adapted to any requests we had and ensured that everyone in our group was catered to. After each meal, she left the kitchen spotless, which was such a thoughtful touch. Su is a true professional and incredibly talented. If you’re looking for a private chef who delivers both exceptional food and a seamless experience, Su’s Cuisine is an outstanding choice. We’d book her again in a heartbeat!

We booked Su last minute and she was amazing. She dealt with food allergies with ease. More importantly, the food was amazing and delicious! We will have her cook for us again!

What a great experience we had! Chef Su was a delight, she made us an amazing table setting for Christmas and we had a lovely 3 course meal. Each meal was full of flavour!

My first time using Take a Chef and it was a dream. After a couple of chefs contacted us we decided to go with Su, her menu and prompt responses to all our questions after a very last minute booking was impeccable, nothing was too much bother for her. Her food was absolutely outstanding there was so much we even had some left overs for our lunch the following day.
