Cooking has always been my passion, the rest came easily, its been 19 years of a culinary adventure. I gained my experience through some of the Western Cape's top establishments, as well as a cook book contribution in Jan Braai's Shisanyama and a feature on his television program Jan Braai vir Erfenis, as well as a feature on the life style program Top Billing.

In 2018, I decided to open my own consulting company, Kolossal Hopitality, I love training and teaching cooks and chef's how to execute modern meals, effectively and efficiently. I loved the idea of brining my skills into a home and sharing my passion for food with like minded people, during this time I have become a very successful Private Chef, servicing various 5 star properties such as Pezula Castle, Noetzie Beach, Knysna and Perivoli Lagoon House, Stanford, Western Cape.

Having worked in the wine industry I specialize in food and wine pairing's which is always a treat for your guests to experience various flavour combinations while gaining more knowledge in the art of food and wine pairing.

Being passionate about the environment I love to balance my cooking styles and techniques, from plant based meals, to free range and sustainable meat dishes.

I am is also a avid hunter and gather, and believe in sustainable hunting and foraging.

Harissa and orange spiced chicken / served with / baked aubergine and pepper cous cous Grilled flat breads with avocado dip / Burrata heirloom tomato and basil pesto salad / Roasted rainbow baby carrot date and nuts salad with rocket and a yoghurt dressing / Avocado sugar snaps and asparagus salad

What a treat! Great food and simply a pleasure to have had her in our home! I would highly recommend Bridget.

Chef Bridget was just brilliant. Not only were her high tea treats delicious, but her knowledge of local MCCs made for the perfect pairing for a decadent afternoon of bubbles and cakes. My favourites were her pecan pies and the apple tort.

Chef Bridget took incredible care of us! The food was very good and the wines were amazing. Besides that Bridget strikes a perfect balance between taking distance and being on top of it. I would highly recommend! Thanks a lot Bridget, see you next time!!

Chef Robyn was totally amazing for us, from the moment she arrived she was so professional and such a nice person too - her presentation of the dishes was amazing and of course they were awesomely delicious. She insisted on cleaning up the kitchen even though we had cleaners to come the next day. Chef Bridget was an absolute star. We commissioned her for our engagement dinner and she did not disappoint on the food and the portions! She really went out of her way to make us both feel extra special. She also made an effort to engage with us during the entire ordeal.

From the beautiful narratives around the dish, her non-intrusive yet engaging interaction with us, to the full service of setting up and cleaning after. Then the food! Bridget was absolutely amazing at my 21st celebration! The food was insanely incredible and my friends and family were raving about it until the next day! The bao buns were the absolute highlight, followed closely by the chocolate cake! I will most definitely be using chef Bridget again for any functions in the future! Bridget created an Italian feast for my birthday which my family have raved about. Not only is her food phenomenal, but Bridget is friendly and attentive. We will be sure to contact her for another incredible experience!
