Experienced Executive Chef with a demonstrated history of working in the food & beverages industry. Skilled in Food Processing, Food & Beverage, MICROS, Hospitality Management, and Customer Service. Strong operations professional graduated from Tribhuvan University. Hospitality TAE qualification from Kingscliff TAFE NSW Australia.

Introducing Nepali cuisine to world, Chef Kumar Chalise was born to Mr. Ebindra Chalise and Mrs. Bimala Chalise in Kathmandu. With two decade of experience in different Deluxe Hotels, Restaurants, Cruise as well as hospitality education industry, Chef Chalise has brought revolution in Nepali food industry. Currently, associated with 8848 MOMO House Australia as a Corporate chef. Global college international - GCI), as a Culinary Manager, he has attended various academic courses in different hospitality industries, conducted culinary art training as a cosmopolitan chef in remote corner of Nepal to international level. In addition to that, he has worked as an Executive Chef at Royal Singi Hotel in Kathmandu, Chicken station, Kohinoor Hotel, Delight Hotel, Gulf Inn Hotel, Grand Hotel, K-port Inn Cruise, GATE college, Good France, POPUP Chefs Event, Bajeko Sekuwa & Jambudeep Banquet. Additionally, he has been working as a consultant for the multi cuisine national companies like Keyman Group/Cafereena, Momo Belle, Kancha ko Bhancha, Civil Mall food Court, Marco Polo Hotel, Times Square Food Court, City Centre Food Court, Nepal Golf Zone, Premiere Hotel and Pujan Hotel. He has published multi cuisine recipes to national magazines, newspapers and TV show programs. He has been advocating of promoting Nepalese cuisines in national and international food lover markets like Australia, Switzerland, Dubai, German, China, Qatar, Iran, Bangladesh, France, Japan, Korea, Spain, Macau, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Malaysia, London and Dubai. He has won the best Executive Chef Performance award held 2013 in Macau. Best performance chef certificate held 2014 in Switzerland. He has won Innovative Chef of the Year 2017 award in Nepal Tourism board. Nepal member world chefs without boarder Myanmar tour for humanity tour. First Cosmopolitan chef of Nepal award 2019.
