A versatile chef, well travelled chef that has 25 years experience including 10 years offsite catering experience.
Twenty six’ experience working in the hospitality industry allows me to be able to work on
my own initiative and as part of a team. I am highly experienced in food safety and quality, for
both products and staff. I succeed in identifying and implementing evidence-based best practice
models. Proven my leadership and organisation skills over many years. With a strong eye for detail
a passion for success, and high standards of employee performance, I strive to be involved in the
industry at multiple levels. I am committed to assisting service providers, organisational cultures of
which embrace this philosophy.

My husband -Mr Antisocial, was apprehensive to have a chef come to our house to prepare his birthday dinner during Coronavirus. Chef Simon was personable, extremely polite, and respected my husband’s uncertainties. Chef Simon was patient as my husband, stacked and stoked the fireplace, causing the expected time of starters to be delayed.
From the moment the first dish arrived, my husband was thoroughly enjoying this unusual and very special experience. All the dishes had complex components that brought out individual flavours and blends, bursting with enticing pleasure.
Our chef was passionate about his craft. Sourcing locally, considering the farmers through drought and economic hardship, bringing flavours alive, and promoting ‘food that could speak for itself’ in our local community.
Before dessert arrived, my husband was planning our next feast and also who we would invite along for this experience.
I’d say the evening was a massive success. Thank you so much Chef Simon. Well done!!

We took a risk and we are so glad we did. Our plans to go to Melbourne for our 15th wedding anniversary were scuttled by the pandemic. In the end we had a thoroughly enjoyable night at home thanks to chef Simon. Every dish he served was excellent and he even decorated our outdoor area and lit candles while we had champagne at the beach. We saved money staying home and would definitely recommend take a chef. We are already planning a dinner party with friends with take a chef once the pandemic is over.
