Chef At Home in London
I m Alberto, a young Spanish chef, my father comes from Basque Country and he used to run his own basque-style restaurant in Madrid, where i worked every summer when i was a kid and i learned to love this craft.
Then I moved to London where I started my own business, a food stall in Portobello market specialising in Spanish classics.
Unfortunately i had to shut down due to Covid, but that was the beginning of a whole new adventure , I enrolled at Le cordon bleu London where i had my Classic French training, in addition to different courses such as culinary management , and Nutrition, Gastronomy and food trends.
After my graduation, I have worked at different fine dining restaurants, with a wide variety of cuisines, Spanish, Japanese, modern european and french, with some michelin starred and 3 rosette establishments along the way. however, i am passionate about food ( proudly a food nerd ) and i love asian food, Mexican, Middle East…. And everything that challenges me in general.
I also worked as private chef before, doing only gigs while i kept working at restaurants.
I have acquired very high standards and after quite a while working as a chef, i now feel confident enough to become a full time private chef.
