I am a vastly experienced chef with over 17 years experience in the industry. I am setting up on my own with a focus on quality and a high level of service. I am passionate about food and also love to pass on my knowledge and wealth of experience. Gave us an incredible experience, would highly recommend and will definitely book again.

We really enjoyed having Andrew to cook for us. He was a huge asset to the party. The food was lovely and the guests thought he was great!

Andy was excellent. We’ve been spoiled with previous experiences but I can honestly say Andy was up there with the best & I’d have no hesitation recommending him to friends.

Andy (Fallon-Barnes) made sure our special evening was a unique, and incredible experience. "Take a Chef" was really easy to navigate, and book and (from the off) communicate with the chefs. We felt safe using the site throughout. We booked Andy for my 60th birthday meal (for 15).......The food was cooked to perfection, with dish explanations for all options delivered eloquently. Andy was cooking close to the dining area, which added a unique element to the setting. He was on the periphery during courses, yet also very much present as 'part of the experience', and he added polite humour to the evening. The clean up was exceptional, and his eventual exit were also very well timed, and balanced. A first rate evening enjoyed by all of our guests, and an experience we will never forget Thanks Andy, and Thanks TAKE A CHEF!

Andy and his assistant were absolutely amazing. They were friendly, served dinner exactly on time and the presentation and taste of the food was unbelievable. They left the kitchen absolutely spotless and even helped provide us with some cutlery and the location we stayed at hadn’t provided enough. I can’t recommend Andy enough! my first ever personal chef experience and he’s set the bar very high. Thanks again both,

Andy was everything we hoped for and more. He was very accommodating and professional. We had an incredible experience, which was enjoyed by all. The food was exceptional, We would definitely recommend.

Would recommend Andy , professional and worked in the kitchen was not intrusive. Food was really tasty and good size portions. For a special event this is a great option.

Andy cooked for six of us for a 60th birthday celebration. The food was AMAZING! Tasty and well presented, the dishes were nicely balanced from the canapés to dessert… the kitchen was spotless at the end too which was great! He is a really nice guy, easy to talk to, interesting and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Andrew was responsive, inventive and accommodating. On the day he was engaging and the food was spectacular.

Andrew Fallon-Barnes was absolutely faultless. He cooked the menu of my wife’s dreams for her 30th birthday. Her three favourite dishes and she said each one was nothing short of perfection. For years we have been trying to find a sticky toffee pudding for her that comes close to Gordon Ramsays and we’ve finally knocked his off her top spot! Everything was presented beautifully and tasted even better. Not only this, but Andrew was incredibly friendly and professional, attentive and left our kitchen more immaculate than we’ve ever seen it! We cannot wait to book Andrew for future events.

Andrew was excellent, we had several dietary requirements in our party and right from the start he assured me he could cope with them all. He altered any dishes to exclude the appropriate allergens, and still produced an excellent and tasty menu for us all. He engaged with us during the dinner, and made sure everyone was happy with their food. If I need a chef again I will be happy to book him.

We found Andrew Fallon-Barnes as a chef to come to our house and cook what was a fantastic meal for my wife's birthday!! Agreeing the menu and timing/availability was easy to arrange. Andrew turned up and we immediately got on. Andrew is very easy going and professional. There were moments when we forgot Andrew was there (might have been the alcohol flowing) so the atmosphere was not disrupted in anyway - we liked Andrew's discrete approach. Quite simply, we would recommend Andrew.

Amazing chef, highly recommend!!!

Andy was an utter professional and all round great guy from beginning to end. He was helpful when deciding the menu - providing guidance, and suggestions to help come to the perfect meal while accommodating one of our dinner guest’s allergies. Leading up to the event, he provided a call sheet, and upon his arrival immediately started getting set up. The food was exquisite. Andy took us through each of the dishes when he served them and even indulged us when we wanted something fun for our instagrams. Overall we felt extremely comfortable with having him in our home, and truly couldn’t have asked for anything more. Highly recommend and would 100% look to book him again!

Andy was amazing. Very good communication and preparation beforehand, and the meal itself was amazing. Andy had a good sense of humour, didn't get flustered by anything (at the venue or dietary wise) and genuinely seemed to want us all to enjoy the food. All in all, would definitely recommend. ????

I've never done anything like this before so wasn't sure what to expect. Andy and I worked on the menu together and came up with a very personalised set of dishes for my husband's special retirement/66th birthday. Andy arrived bang on the agreed time with everything he needed, sussed out the kitchen and dining room and then got on with it quietly, politely and efficiently. He delivered all the dishes to the table and explained what they were made up of. The food was exquisitely presented and cooked. After desserts had been served and before taking his leave, he showed me the kitchen, which was spotless and you couldn't tell anyone had been in there. The whole experience meant both myself and husband were able to fully enjoy the occasion and the restaurant quality food with none of the stress of entertaining a large party in our own home. Needless to say our guests were all suitable impressed. I would thoroughly recommend Andy for any event.
