Chef Mary I have always loved the culinary arts, a talent I inherited from my family, who have always enjoyed various cuisine. While I initially went to college to study teaching and learning and working with special needs young people and adults, I quickly decided that i had to pursue what I was naturally gifted at.

I knew the work would be hard, but I felt I couldn’t lose I knew my family all were waiting for me to put myself out there and do what I love doing. COOKING!

So armed with determination and passion, I went on and established my business Gidea Park Spice from home with the help of my husband Johnny.

My mentors are my parents. My mum especially gets the credit for the guidance she provided that had everything to do with making me the success I am today.

I am always excited about the goodness of food, both in nutrients and taste, I enjoy cooking for for family and friends where ever I can.
