Throughout the 30 + years of my successful professional career within the NHS, I cooked as an enthusiastic amateur (catering for local shoots and events, alongside hosting large socials at home ) and honed my skills as a hobby,.

Upon retiring from the NHS I felt there was probably a need to formalise matters; I thus enrolled in culinary school (yes, alongside all those youngsters) to formally train and obtain a professional qualification to both consolidate my MANY years of experience and ensure I was doing things the right way! I was delighted to achieve a distinction at the prestigious Ashburton Culinary School.

I am now an enthusiastic private dinner party chef, enabling people to enjoy a fabulous experience in their own home and not have to worry about anything from the shopping through to the cooking. Nothing makes me happier than talking food with clients and making sure we put on a sinner party to their exact requests. But Equally, I am delighted when relationships are formed and clients simply say 'you choose'

I live in the beautiful Cornish countryside with my retired surgeon husband - a man of many hobby's and interests who has no issue that I am regularly away cheffing! We have had big, busy careers and are not yet ready for slippers.
