I was born in Yucatán, México, Started my career at the age of 14 in the family restaurant. At the age of 19 I received a scholarship to study in Italy at ICIF (Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners, Turin), then returned to México to share my experience in many kitchens in the Mayan Riviera, Mexico City and Puerto Vallarta. Personal chef since 2015 creating the company Cooking Zone Vallarta, specialized in Private Chef and Catering services.

I surprised my husband with a four-course romantic dinner in Sayulita, Mexico with Chef Danny Avila and we were absolutely blown away. From the moment Danny arrived he was hospitable, charismatic and made us the most delicious Margaritas with a truly unforgettable dinner using the most fresh local ingredients. I would use Take A Chef in every country I visit moving forward, as the value you receive is much higher than going out to a restaurant. Thank you for making my husbands birthday the most magical experience he has ever had!

Danny'd staff was amazing. The food was the best meal we have ever had in our 17 years visiting Punta Mita!
