I’m Gil, a private chef with a passion for creating memorable culinary experiences through refined cuisine.
With over a decade of experience in professional kitchens, including fine dining, hospitality and private events, my cooking brings together Portuguese tradition, Madeiran influences and contemporary techniques. I believe that great food is not only about flavour, but also about emotion, presentation and the story behind every ingredient.
My cuisine is inspired by my roots in Madeira and my connection to Alentejo, combining the simplicity and authenticity of Portuguese cooking with a modern, elegant approach.
As a private chef, my goal is to create more than just a meal. I create personalised dining experiences, designed around each client, the occasion and the place — from intimate dinners to celebrations and bespoke culinary events.
