The Take a Chef booking process and communication with diversity of choice of chefs and variety of food menus is seamless. Our choice of Chef, Chef Adel provided a delightful menu plan based on seafood with authentic Mediterranean flavours. The evening was relaxed and an exceptional food experience.

Adel was incredible, the food tasty and he explained what he was serving and was even willing to share some of the tips and tricks with our party of 6. I would have him back in a heart beat and definitely recommend him. Well worth it.

I would highly recommend Take a Chef. This is the 2nd year we have used them and have been very happy with both experiences.

I engaged Chef Adel Samie to prepare a special Italian fare for my wife's 50th birthday party. As I'm a perfectionist, Chef was very accommodating (and patient!) right from the get-go. A couple of guests had particular food allergies, but after several 'tweaks' to the original menu proposal, he came up with the perfect menu to satisfy all my guests, appease my fastidious requirements, and even offered suggestions for the wine styles best suited to each of the courses! The food was beautifully presented (bringing constant ooh's & ahh's from the table); described with passion; and tasted, well that was just next level! Icing on the cake was at the end of the night when Chef had everything washed up and the kitchen glistening like new. Thank you, Chef Adel - you went above & beyond and made it a night to remember.

Chef Adel was amazing, the food was wonderful. He was interactive, explained the dishes, was friendly but also allowed us to enjoy the food in our own company. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to do this experience.

From the initial conversation, to confirming the menu options and time and date, to the arrival on the day and the delicious food that came out of my own kitchen, was superb. Chef Adel was lovely and seemed to love doing what he was. His menu accommodated our dietary needs. His work ethic was great and his food absolutely delicious. It was a lovely surprise for a birthday girl. Chef cooked, washed up, put everything in the kitchen back in order and even swept the floors. Will definitely look to hire Chef Adel again. Chef Adel was warm, engaging & instantly & naturally adopted into the intimate social circle that was my 40th birthday celebration. From start to finish, Chef Adel epitomised the dream food experience we had hoped for! I highly, highly recommend Chef Adel for an incredibly unforgettable experience & wish him nothing but success in his future endeavours.

Our home transformed into a gourmet haven as chef Adel worked his magic. He worked in the kitchen like it was his own home treating it so well and the clean up was above and beyond what I expected. He composed a bespoke dining experience tailored to share so our guests were not limited to a fixed meal. Amazing food and great experince !!!

Adel created incredible dishes for us. He started with the entrees, moving into mains and then dessert. Everything was fresh and prepared beautifully. The flavours he creates in his dishes is amazing, the meat was cooked to perfection. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely do it again. Thank you Chef Adel for a wonderful dinner experience.

Adel did such an amazing job and the food was so delicious! We were so lucky to have him come into our home and make such amazing food. What a great!

Adel was punctual and very friendly. He settled into the kitchen easily and started cooking straight away. He was attentive without being overbearing and served and explained our meals each course. He cleaned up everything in the kitchen and left it all spotless - even mopping the floor before he left. Packed away the left overs and left them in the fridge. A fabulous evening . Food was delicious and the chef - Adel was really friendly. Highly recommend Adel for a special evening with delicious food.
