Chef Nina “Teddie” Huynh creates refined, modern Vietnamese dining experiences, blending heritage, storytelling, and quiet luxury through food.

I’m Nina “Teddie” Huynh, a Sydney-based Vietnamese-Australian chef and the founder of Food & Femme and New Century Noodles.

I create highly personal dining experiences that blend modern Vietnamese cuisine with storytelling, memory, and a deep sense of care. My approach is refined yet soulful, with each menu designed not just around flavour, but around feeling. I’m drawn to the quiet details, the balance of textures, the warmth of a shared table, and the way a dish can hold nostalgia while still feeling entirely new.

My cooking is shaped by my upbringing in a second-generation Vietnamese household and inspired by my family’s legacy through New Century Fabrics. That sense of history lives in everything I do, reimagined through a contemporary lens with a focus on elegance, restraint, and intention.

Through Food & Femme, I offer private dining and bespoke catering experiences for clients who are looking for something considered and deeply personal. From intimate dinners in the home to refined celebrations and brand-led gatherings, I work closely with each client to create a menu and atmosphere that feels effortless, immersive, and distinctly theirs.

My background in some of Sydney’s most respected kitchens, along with my work across major events and media, allows me to deliver at a high level while maintaining a sense of intimacy and connection. The experience is seamless, thoughtful, and quietly luxurious.

At its core, my work is about connection, creating space for people to slow down, gather, and experience something meaningful through food.
