My culinary journey began after graduating from university in the UK, but it wasn’t until my travels around Australia in 2016 that my passion for cooking truly took off. A chance encounter with my future mentor in a Melbourne café sparked a deep appreciation for the craft, and under her guidance, I refined my skills and eventually stepped into the role of head chef at a Middle Eastern café and restaurant.

Although initially stumbling into specialising in Middle Eastern cuisine, I've quickly grew to love its humble essence and the rich variety of herbs, spices, and bold flavours that define it. My cooking reflects a genuine respect for the cuisine’s traditions, blending authenticity with my own creative touch.

For myself, the secret ingredient to an amazing dining experience is the entire journey—beyond just the food. While the flavours and presentation are at the heart of it, I believe it’s the full experience that leaves a lasting impression. From the warmth of service and the ambience of the room to the music, the drinks, and the people you share it with—every element plays a part in making a meal truly special.
