A young and passionate chef blending modern fusion cuisine with creativity, energy, and strong sense of hospitality with top professional experience.

My name is Ranlin Liu, the Executive Chef of Trilogy, a contemporary F&B startup based in Lausanne. We offer a dynamic mix of food truck experiences, high-end catering, and private chef services designed for modern, experiential dining.

I graduated from EHL – École hôtelière de Lausanne, where I was awarded the EHL Culinary Champion title. This marked a defining moment in my career, validating the years of dedication I had already invested in professional kitchens.

My culinary foundation was built in France, where I worked under Michelin three-star chef Christophe Bacquié and trained under several MOF chefs — experiences that taught me discipline, excellence, and precision. I was fortunate to be mentored by Chef Michel de Matteis, whose influence continues to shape my approach to flavor, detail, and execution.

At Trilogy, I bring these experiences together to create a bold, globally inspired culinary identity. Our menu is rooted in fusion cuisine, featuring seasonal and expressive dishes like vegan Provence-style fig pickles, hot spring eggs with Sichuan Lantern beef, foie gras lollipops with port wine sauce, and green bean cakes with edible flowers. Through this combination of fine-dining techniques and creative flavors, we aim to offer guests more than a meal — we offer a story.
