Get to know me better

Passionate about good health through delicious mouth watering healing foods.

My Culinary and Nutritional History.

During my university years I worked at a coffee shop as a barista and also making all the cakes and pastries for the day ahead.

When I left university I worked at the Canadian muffin company as a manager making all the muffins and hot food for lunches.

After this I spent an amazing 12 years employed as a stewardess for BA, working mainly in the first class galley traveling the long haul destinations of the world experiencing many different foods and cultures.

I Left BA to become a mother and while the kids were young we bought a house in Portugal where we spent a lot of time. 

This didn’t enhance my culinary skills but it was at this point one of my best friends got sick with cancer and gave me the realization that life is short or it can be,  and that it really is important to look after yourself with healthy eating, exercise, reduction in stress  and a balance in everything.

In Portugal I made some new friends who were interested in wellness and holistic practices from all over the world and this opened my mind to researching different medicinal ideas. 

I then embarked on a home learning mission studying

Alkaline Nutrition, Master Herbalist  Diploma Course, Naturopath Diploma and a Hygge Diploma 

I also had an opportunity to work with Andreas Zangel a Michelin award winning chef in Taormina in Sicily in his restaurant kitchen where he taught me how to make Pasta, fillet fish and cook amazing foods. 

We moved back to the Uk in September 2019 just before covid. At this point I realized I wished to study Culinary Medicine and learn how foods influence the healing of many chronic diseases and also aid in the wellness and happiness of my friends, family and clients. 

Since studying a culinary diploma with the medicinal chef Dale Pinnock, I’ve been helping my clients find their optimal wellness through developing a deeper understanding of their habits and lifestyle choices and adapting their food choices to ones that regain health and vitality. As a certified Culinary Consultant, I aim to create easy food options that prioritize your well-being, heal and celebrate all aspects of your true self. It’s time to start nurturing your body with pure soul food again.
