Passionate about my cooking and about flavours.

I'm Guilherme, a private and performance chef based between Leeds and London, with over 17 years in professional kitchens. I've been a head chef in London and Leeds, worked in five-star hotels, and cooked on superyachts from 26 to 99 metres. Since 2023 I've cooked for Premier League footballers and their families, and travelled with professional cycling teams to World Cup races and Olympic training camps.

That mix has taught me to cook just about anything, and to do it well under pressure. Mediterranean food is close to my heart, but I'm just as happy cooking a proper Yorkshire roast, a Brazilian churrasco, a sushi night or a six-course tasting menu. Allergies and dietary needs are planned for properly, never as an afterthought.

On the day I arrive prepared, cook and serve in your kitchen, and leave it as tidy as I found it, so you can enjoy your guests.

About pricing

Every event is different, so the prices on my menus are a starting point rather than a fixed quote. The final price depends on the number of guests, the menu and any changes you'd like, the ingredients, and where the event takes place. Send me a message before booking and we'll agree on a price that works for you, here in the chat.

For smaller groups of two to four guests a minimum spend applies. Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve are priced separately, and December books up quickly, so it's worth getting in touch early.

If I can't make it

If for any reason I'm unable to cook at your event, I'll do my best to find a professional chef of the same standard to take my place. If I can't find a suitable replacement, I'll cancel through the platform as early as possible and explain why.

Travel

I cook across Manchester, Leeds, Yorkshire, Cheshire and Liverpool, and I'm happy to travel for the right event. For venues further afield a travel supplement may apply. I'll always agree it with you in the chat first, and it's added through the platform so everything stays in one place.

Its been the first time we've hired a private chef, and it definitely won't be the last. We had the most fantastic night. Having chef G made the night so relaxed, he was engaging but not intrusive, and the food was thorougly enjoyed by all the guests. Guilherme was fantastic from the moment we booked him. He went above and beyond, even preparing two additional dishes to make sure the guests were satisfied. He came in, did his job, no questions asked, and was tidy in cleaning up afterwards. The whole experience was extremely comfortable and professional from start to finish.

Guilherme was so fab! Such a nice guy, made a new unknown experience so comfortable! We dined in an outside area and he was a champ in contending with the horrendous weather, he wasn’t phased and the food was still presented beautifully. Couldn’t have done enough, and the food was incredible.

We had chef Guilherme cook our Christmas dinner. It was a fantastic way to spend Christmas. I had no worries and could just enjoy the whole day. From the very beginning he was brilliant. The commutation was really good and he quickly replied to any of my queries. Nothing was too much trouble. He helped decide on a wonderful Christmas menu and really delivered. The food was unbelievably tasty and cooked perfectly. Everyone commented on the fact they had never had carrots and parsnips so delicious. It was beautifully presented on our plates. I have a houseful of men with big appetites and there was plenty of food to fill them and have second helpings. The desserts were served later in the day because everyone was so full and we wanted to be hungry enough to enjoy them. They did not disappoint and were worth having had later because like everything else they were delicious. I would definitely recommend having a chef for your special occasion. Chef Guilherme was the first chef we have used and if you want tasty food,beautifully prepared with no worries then he definitely fits the bill. Thankyou chef

I recently hired Chef Gee to cook for my husband's 50th birthday celebration at home, where we had 20 guests. The entire experience was exceptional! Everything was delivered on time, and the food was beyond delicious. Chef Gee and his assistant were not only skilled but also incredibly friendly and helpful. I would genuinely rate the experience 10/10. Highly recommend for a delightful and stress-free culinary celebration!
