Chef Jennifer Robb

I’m a South African–trained chef with a global career shaped across some of the world’s most exclusive island destinations. After beginning my training in Johannesburg, I refined my skills at Grootbos Private Nature Reserve in Cape Town before moving internationally.

My journey has taken me through multiple luxury properties, including Miavana by Time + Tide in Madagascar, Alphonse Island Lodge in the Seychelles, Mnemba Island in Zanzibar, as well as Raja Ampat, Indonesia, and Mykonos, Greece.

Working across these remote island environments shaped my approach to food — adaptable, detail-driven, and creative, with a strong respect for seasonality, sourcing, and simplicity done well.

Alongside my culinary experience, I studied nutrition, which influences how I design menus today: vibrant, balanced dishes that never compromise on flavor indulgence.

Now based in the UK, I work as a private chef, bringing a refined yet relaxed dining experience into clients’ homes. My cooking is seasonal, produce-led, and inspired by my travels — designed to feel both elevated and personal for every occasion.
