I’m Kirsty Langschmidt, a classically trained chef and founder of Happy Plate, a premier catering service delivering bespoke dining experiences. I honed my culinary expertise at the HTA College of Culinary Arts in Johannesburg before moving to London, where I spent over six years at Soho House, one of the city’s renowned private members’ clubs.

I later became a private chef for an ultra-high-net-worth family, a role I excelled in for more than five years, showcasing my meticulous attention to detail and exceptional culinary talent. With a strong background in business and marketing, combined with my passion for cooking and household management, I established Happy Plate to bring tailored menus and unforgettable dining experiences to every event.
