Private Chef In KentI am an avid food lover who spends just as much time reading about dishes and food history as I do working in kitchens and doing private events. I stepped down as the executive chef of 1815 Tavern last year to help my family open a little bar but COVID put a hold on that. So here I am trying keep things interesting for myself while also trying to pay the bills and hopefully help my parents open their bar.
Before COVID though I was running a private supper club and cooking in private residences on the side. Even more so now than ever I strive to provide a fun and comforting dining experience for people in the safty of their own home. You can find me working here on TakeAChef, or under my BDA 'Hearthstone' where I have several private clients and also do small event catering.
Being self taught with an affinity for finer things I specialize in upscale downhome cooking: Modern and Historical American food with some Italian, Asain, and Mediterranean cuisines thrown in built on French techniques.
