Like so many of us, I grew up in the kitchen. Many of my childhood memories revolve around food, cooking, and a dream to open a healthy restaurant one day. Little did I know then that I was on a path with a collective of experiences to serve people in their own home kitchens instead.

My culinary wheelhouse is in cooking with Latin, Mediterranean, and regional American flavors. I love to get creative with exploring a wide variety of recipes to learn new techniques and more about enhancing flavors.

My clientele has included executive professionals, professional athletes, international business people, and families. I am highly organized, attentive to detail, and resourceful in providing more than food at your event. I am adaptable to casual, informal gatherings as well as black-tie multi-course occasions.

Before becoming a personal chef, I had an award-winning career for 10 years in catering sales and event planning in the hotel industry and fine dining restaurants.

Chef Laura was spectacular! She was professional, punctual, and clearly worked hard to come up with a thoughtfully prepared menu. The food was excellent- highly recommend!

Chef Laura (the Dinner Whisperer) was incredible. She spent time truly understanding what our dinner was all about, who was going to be there, and then planned and executed a truly amazing evening. She cooked a Moroccan theme dinner, and even went to the store about purchased decor, lighting, incense, etc. She brought in liqueur from another country, custom-designed cocktails and ensured we had a truly authentic experience. Her service was impeccable, her personality was great, and she was a pleasure. I HIGHLY recommend using Laura for your event.
