Chef Monya Kilian Palmer

Monya is a classically trained chef whose career has been shaped by over a decade of hands-on experience and collaborations with some of the world’s most respected chefs and personalities. Her food philosophy is simple yet powerful: unpretentious, unfussy and always focussed on flavour, colour, texture and high nutrition.

After completing her formal training in Cape Town in 2011, Monya honed her craft on Heston Blumenthal’s Development Team at The Fat Duck, before working alongside Tom Kerridge, Le Cordon Bleu and the Joe Wicks team. Today, she is known for her versatile cooking style that adapts seamlessly to any dietary lifestyle, with a particular specialism in keto, low carb and the Mediterranean diet.

A best-selling cookbook author, Monya combines precision with creativity in every dish. For the past nine summers, she has been the personal chef to tennis star Grigor Dimitrov, collaborating closely with his coach and nutritionist to fuel his performance at the highest level. Her impressive client list also includes Serena Williams, Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, and Eiza González - testament to her ability to meet the unique needs of elite athletes, celebrities and high-profile individuals alike.
