Cooking became a way of expression. I love making food for others

I began my culinary journey unexpectedly after leaving a career as a financial consultant in London. In 2014, I moved to Lisbon to start a new chapter in a country that felt like home from the very first day. The warmth of the people, combined with the richness of flavors and aromas, sparked something new in me.

Although I grew up surrounded by talented women who cooked beautifully, I had never stepped into the kitchen myself. It wasn’t until I found myself missing homemade Pakistani food that I began cooking seriously. What started as a personal need quickly became a passion, fueled by shared recipes and guidance from my family back home.

Through constant experimentation and encouragement from friends who believed in my potential, I discovered my true calling in the kitchen. Today, my cooking is deeply rooted in tradition, emotion, and cultural connection, while remaining open to creativity and evolution.

As a chef, I strive to create food that feels genuine, comforting, and meaningful—meals that connect people and tell a story. Outside the kitchen, I enjoy discovering new music, sketching, and spending quality time with friends, all of which continue to inspire my culinary approach.
