From cooking traditional recipes at home to becoming a runner up at MasterChef tv show, then opening a south American bistrot in Shanghai to ending up at Asia's #1 top 50 kitchen at Gaggan Anand in Bangkok. Lots of experience at events and pop-ups across Asia for big brands (Vogue, Tattler, Ritz-Carlton, Le Meridien, Edition, W Hotels, Shanghai Fashion Week, etc). Most recently Head Chef of TOMATITO Sexy Tapas, elected best tapa restaurant in Shanghai 7 years consecutively.

My cooking is high-low, sophisticated and yet casual at the same time. South American roots, European influence and Asian whereabouts mashing-up.

I learned to cook at...

Everywhere. Started being a child helping around my grandmother's kitchen, to then cooking for friends and family to then being a professional chef.

A cooking secret...

I'm blunt and direct with my work and the food I cook. I hate when chefs try to "over-smart" the dishes. I cook for people, not for chefs.
