Im a Professional chef of 22+ years . With an international background of culinary, and a constant student of the History of Food its travels throughout the ages.

I have recently relocated to Portugal, from Hong Kong, where I look forward to continuing my culinary journey.

While in Hong Kong, I was known as the Magic Chef of Hong Kong, for my ability in preparing a range of food, whether for a Private Gathering, or a 150 people catering event .

As a professional chef my culinary abilities span cuisines of different regions of the world, each cuisine style is carefully studied and dishes created to please the palette, and the senses. I was also the only chef in South East Asia to prepare the very little heard of and known about Parsi Cuisine of India, as well as Iranian Cuisine.

I have also been recently accepted into the prestigious World Chefs Association Societies, Paris, as a member of the organization.

In 2021 I have been accepted by the American Culinary Federation as one of the few chefs from outside the United States, to qualify joining their chapter.

At my Grandmas elbows .They taught me the true methods of cooking, spices, and how to use them . course in Hotel Management from IIHM, Chennai.

Chef Zurath cooked a delicious Mediterranean dinner for me and six more friends. After he sent me the first menù proposal we had some requests and he was happy to change the menu accordingly. He came all the way to Peng Chau (something that most chefs don’t do) and left the kitchen spotlessly clean. We highly recommend him as private chef.

Brilliant experience! The food was delicately flavoured and the service was impeccable. Chef Zurath offered us an exquisite Valentine's day dinner. As a French man, I was delighted by the chef skills at French cuisine. Every meal was so well presented that my partner took a picture of each, and most of them were of better taste that was I am used to in France. Chef Zurath was wonderful! The communication pre-event was professional and helpful. Our group had a couple of dietary requirements and it was no trouble at all. On the night he served a delightful menu that looked and tasted great. I highly recommend Chef Zurath!

We had Chef Zurah cook for a birthday dinner of 14 people and could not have been happier in our choice. He was impeccably professional, helpful, informative and above all a talented chef who brought our occasion together through an array of interesting flavours and well balanced dishes.
