Born to host & entertain people with my thoughtful dishes

After working in journalism, PR & advertising for 13 years in Asia & North America, I left my 9-5 routine to open the first Indonesian takeout restaurant in Toronto's Downtown core. Through up-and-coming delivery app Cookin, my venture, Java Bali Kitchen, quickly became the #1 store with 350+ positive reviews. On Google, Torontonians rate my food 4.9 out of 5 stars.

I developed my sense of flavour when traveling the globe in my 20's. Having visited over 30 countries, I'm proud to say that I have a diverse culinary knowledge. And while I only cook Indonesian food for work, my cooking is very versatile, ranging from Italian, French and Latin America.

I've also been featured in The Globe and Mail, Toronto Life, and Macleans Magazine.
