I’m Christoffer, a Norwegian head chef who splits my year between the kitchens of Hurtigruten’s coastal fleet and the island I call home: Menorca. MeNordic is where those two worlds meet — Nordic discipline and technique brought to the very best of Menorcan seasonal produce. Nordic soul, Menorcan heart.
I cook close to the source. That means sourcing over the counter, not from wholesalers — biodynamic vegetables from Huerto Santo Domingo, the morning’s catch from Sa Llotja in Mahón, and island staples like patatò, tomàtiga de ramallet and brossat. Signatures range from my MeNordic sourdough to chamomile and fig leaf panna cotta, and a Nordic chimichurri that ties the two traditions together.
Whether it’s an intimate villa dinner, yacht catering, a retreat, or a market tour that ends at your table, every menu is built around the season and the occasion. I’d love to cook for you.
