Hello, my name is Shijie Xia Irène. I’m a professionally trained chef with a strong background in both culinary innovation and fine dining, including experience in Michelin-starred restaurants across France and China. I hold a Master’s degree in Culinary Leadership and Innovation from the Institut Paul Bocuse, with part of my studies completed in Finland at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences.

Throughout my career, I’ve developed a unique approach that combines technical excellence with cultural creativity. I’ve trained and worked at esteemed establishments such as Restaurant Jérôme Nutile in Nîmes, Cuicina by Alain Ducasse at Hotel Byblos, and La Brezza at St. Regis Zhuhai. My culinary style is rooted in classical French techniques, enriched with Asian influences and contemporary food design.

In addition to my hands-on kitchen experience, I’ve also been involved in food R&D and experiential dining projects, including product development with Nestlé Research and Häagen Dazs. These opportunities have deepened my passion for crafting not just dishes, but memorable experiences for clients.

As a private chef, I offer personalized menus, attention to detail, and a refined service that brings restaurant-level dining to your home or event. I speak fluent English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, and I bring a warm, professional energy to every culinary encounter.
