I’m Harry Maguire — chef, fishmonger and MasterChef Champion 2025.
My cooking is rooted in a love of great ingredients, classical technique and big, bold flavours. I’m particularly passionate about fish and seafood, drawing on my experience as a trained fishmonger to make the most of exceptional produce while keeping the food approachable, generous and, above all, delicious.
My journey into food wasn’t exactly conventional. I started my career in branding and advertising before deciding to take a completely different path and retrain as a fishmonger. That experience gave me a real appreciation for quality ingredients, seasonality and the people behind the food — values that still shape the way I cook today.
Winning MasterChef in 2025 was a huge moment for me, but it was really the beginning of the next chapter. Through Harry Maguire Cooking, I now bring my style of cooking into private homes, events and venues, creating everything from intimate tasting menus and dinner parties to canapés, supper clubs and larger-scale events.
I want my food to feel special without ever feeling stuffy. Whether it’s a beautifully prepared piece of British fish, a perfectly executed classical dish or a menu built around the ingredients of the season, my aim is always the same: great food, great company and an experience people remember.
