We booked Stephen for an Italian themed menu for a friends get together. He was very communicative prior to our event and accommodating of changes and dietary preferences. His food was excellent, well presented on the plate and all of the guests were very content. He worked really hard to make the event unique, printing out some personalized images on rice paper and he clearly worked very hard and diligently. The kitchen was spotless after he left! Personally he is a very pleasant guy, chatty, polite and kind. My only feedback would be on the service of the food. An clearer explanation of the food served, perhaps with more care would have taken his dinner to the next level.

We had a wonderful evening thanks to Steven, the food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious, can’t fault him in any way so would highly recommend him

Steven made for a very special event for my Dad’s 70th birthday. Pre event he was responsive and helpful as we worked out the menu. On the day he arrived on time, was very pleasant to have around, cooked a delicious meal and made a particularly well presented special desert fitting for a 70th. He also left the kitchen cleaner than he found it. I’d highly recommend.

Steven was great! From our first contact with him, we found him obliging and flexible. We loved his first dessert suggestion but were less keen on the other two courses he proposed, so he was happy to change these to something we preferred. He had a difficult journey to get here, by train, ferry and bus because his car was out of action but he still arrived on time and got straight to work. He is incredibly hard working, very friendly and polite. His food was completely delicious and beautifully presented. There were eleven of us and we all loved every course. He left the kitchen clean and tidy, too. I would definitely recommend him.

Chef Steven was wonderful! He arrived timely. Food was amazing. He was extremely upbeat and brought great energy. What he could do in that kitchen in such a short time was amazing. He also cleaned up perfectly. Really pleased with my experience!

Steven was incredible! Amazing food, super fun to chat to, he worked his heart put and tried to make everything super special and personalised which was really sweet of him. Would definitely recommend and I have already hired him again for another event!

Our chef was charismatic and friendly. He made the whole occasion special. We were in holiday accommodation and he took any issues (ie the cooker didn't work properly) in his stride without a panic - so professional!!!

Steven was proactive and responsive in the lead up to the event. He arrived on time, was really friendly and accommodating and delivered a wonderful meal for a milestone anniversary even creating a bespoke dessert that specifically celebrated the occasion. A wonderful memory for us all.

Steven was fantastic, he turned up early and fitted straight into out gathering, as if by magic he produced an anazing 3 course dinner and left the kitchen sparkling. Our favouite were the tuille lobsters. It is the first time booking a chef and we would have no problem recommending Steven for any occasion. Thanks Steven for making our night special.

My husband and I booked Steven to come and cook for us and 10 of our friends for my 50th Birthday. we had rented a house in Axbridge for the occasion. The menu that Steven sent through was well thought out and he was very accommodating to making changes to ensure that the guests who had food intolerance were catered for. Steven arrived in good time and we were able to just leave him to get on with cooking our food. He served each courses to us and we all enjoyed it. It was a lovely meal and great way to celebrate my birthday.

Steven’s food was stunning, full of flavour, great portion sizes, expertly prepared and served, with all the finishing touches and a surprise with the last course to help us celebrate our anniversary. Steven was excellent, very friendly and welcoming. His food was delicious. One of our group had food allergies and he took the time to go through the menu with her personally and explain what was in each dish. A really fun evening that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

Never had a private chef before, so didn't know what to expect. Steven was brilliant, he came with plenty of time, was flexible around us due to our little ones. Steven was engaging and made everyone feel comfortable, and most importantly the food was ace! Highly recommend!
