I am a self-taught and passionate chef, originally from Cagliari, who has transformed curiosity and dedication into his work
I'm Riccardo, a 42-year-old chef from Cagliari. I was originally a law student, but I started working in the kitchen purely out of passion. At 21, I began cooking and never stopped. I've always had the fortune of working with generous people who taught me a great deal—from Costa Smeralda to Tuscany, and even in Germany, in Munich, where I worked in an Italian restaurant and honed my skills through hands-on experience.
I'm also a self-taught scholar; I've learned the theory through the many books I've read over the years. I'm a curious person—I love to observe and study. My dishes take shape slowly: they first form in my mind, piece by piece, and only then do I bring them to life and test them out.
