Most of the work we do here is in rented villas and holiday homes: families and groups of friends who want to eat well for several days without turning the holiday into a logistics problem. Demand for private chefs in Sicily follows the season on the island. Bookings concentrate between May and October, when villas and holiday homes are full and groups arrive for a week at a time, and the August peak is when good chefs get taken first. If your dates fall in high season, come to us early: the earlier we have your brief, the wider the selection of chefs we can put in front of you.
There is no bad month for a chef at home in Sicily, but there is a difference in what we can offer you. In the quieter months more chefs are available for the same date and menus lean on what the season gives. In July and August we work with tighter availability, so we ask for dates as far ahead as you can give them.
