I was raised in Beirut, where the table is sacred and hospitality is an art passed down, not performed. My earliest education came from my grandmother’s kitchen: vine leaves rolled by hand, olive oil warmed gently, the perfume of jasmine, cinnamon, and thyme lingering in the air. Lebanese cuisine is not something I adopted later in life, it is the language of my upbringing, spoken fluently for generations.

That heritage has travelled with me across the world, through Europe, the Middle East, and the United States, refining my technique and deepening my respect for Lebanese cuisine as one of the world’s most sophisticated culinary traditions: generous yet precise, layered yet balanced, deeply expressive without excess.

At Beit Walid, tradition is honoured and elevated. Classical Lebanese flavours are presented through a modern, meticulous lens, authentic in soul, contemporary in execution, refined in presentation. The Mediterranean may share ingredients, but the Lebanese perfected the dialogue between them. This is the genuine article: family recipes, disciplined technique, and ingredients chosen with intention. No shortcuts. No theatrics.

I work with fresh, local produce wherever possible, guided by ethics, sustainability, and a careful awareness of my carbon footprint. Clean food, prepared properly, with respect for both ingredient and guest. I hold a five-star food hygiene rating, awarded twice by BCP Council, alongside five-star ratings on TripAdvisor and Yhangry, a reflection of consistency, professionalism, and trust, never compromise.

Lebanese food is not meant to simply satisfy hunger. It is meant to be shared, savoured, and remembered. Portions are generous because hospitality demands abundance. Presentation is precise because the eye must be convinced before the palate is engaged. Every event is shopped for individually, prepared individually, and cooked individually, ensuring your table receives my full attention and absolute commitment. I routinely provide more variety and more food than agreed, because Lebanese hospitality plans for generosity, not scarcity.
