Alessandro

I have 15 years of experience in the kitchen. I worked in Spain, Ireland, Italy, Denmark. My experience was formed by working but I give my best when I go to the market and create dishes based on the fresh things I find, so I improvise improvised dishes that are still based on the Mediterranean style. I spent the last 13 years in Copenhagen where I learned another way of conceiving the menu.

I learned to cook at home, learning the secrets and traditions from my mother, aunts and grandmother. Then restaurants.

A cooking secret...

I use simplicity a lot so as not to cover the aromas of the food and then slow cooking which optimizes the sauces

Chef Allesandro arrived with a big smile on his face and left as a member of our family!! Chef completely exceeded my expectations for my first in-home personal chef experience. He felt like part of our family by the time dessert was served. He communicated back and forth with me to ensure he put together the perfect meal for my family of seven. He was very clear, responsive and helpful in his communication. He also was very detailed in his menu and preparation to ensure everyone loved the meal, which we did! The food he prepared was delicious! And it was all local food, fresh and as he said “only something delicious that I would prepare for myself.” It was very apparent that Chef had years of experience through the taste of his food and the preparation. He had everything he needed to prepare the meal without having to interrupt our family time. And as he brought out each course, the presentation was beautiful and he would take the time to explain where all the ingredients came from and why he chose certain dishes over others. Very informative, and it made us feel that he truly took the time to make it an unforgettable experience for us. Chef Allesandro is also so much fun! We had music playing during dinner and I watched him in there enjoying himself, dancing in the kitchen, truly enjoying what he does. His vibrance of what he loves to do was apparent and it made the family have such a great, unforgettable experience! By the end of the night, all of my family members wanted to snap pictures with him, so they could remember the experience forever. Chef Allesandro and his in-home dining experience was a 10 out of 10! I highly recommend Chef for any at-home, private chef events you may be thinking of when you travel! I know I will be contacting him again when I am back in Sicily in 2025!! Thank you, Chef!

There are not enough positive things to say about the experience with Chef Alessandro! Prior to dinner the communication was punctual, and clearly he wanted to make us feel happy with the proposed menu. He even made sure that the kitchen had everything needed to prepare the perfect meal. He arrived on time and was so engaging. We loved the conversation, he had us laughing a lot!! Finally, the cooking was superb. The cleanest ingredients, prepared in ways we had never had before. He even told us tips about how to select the best foods for freshness and cultural aspects about Sicily. We loved every moment and are so grateful to have met Alessandro.
