We had a wonderful experience with Danilo! He was warm and engaging and we enjoyed incredible meals at our villa on two evenings. We received menu options via whatsapp and were able to mix and match to our tastes. The Sicialian style fish was a group favourite. It was no probmem at all to adapt the meals for my son who is allergic to dairy. It was a real luxury to have a private chef and very much appreciated.

Chef Danilo was exceptional - the entire experience was perfect! We don’t have enough kind words to describe Danilo as a chef, as a person and to describe the experience as a whole! Grazie mille!

The birthday dinner prepared by Danillo was delicious!!! Everything was perfectly seasoned and presented – the guests were delighted. Communication with the chef was very good and quick. Chef Danilo was not only an incredible chef, but also a truly wonderful human being. He created meals for our group that everyone absolutely loved. In fact, we often found ourselves comparing restaurant meals to his, and more often than not, Danilo's were our favorites of the entire week in Sicily. From breakfast to lunch to dinner, he introduced us to authentic Sicilian dishes we had never experienced before and will likely spend the rest of our lives trying to recreate. He truly spoiled our crew with his talent, generosity, and passion for cooking. What made the experience even more special was that he brought us to the local markets to shop alongside him, giving us a genuine glimpse into Sicilian culinary culture. It wasn't just a meal service, it was an unforgettable cultural experience. We feel incredibly lucky to have met Danilo and to have experienced his love of cooking firsthand. We hope our paths cross again someday, perhaps in New York City.

We had Chef Danilo for a private dinner in Taormina and it was one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment he arrived, he was warm, personable, and made everyone feel completely at ease. He even welcomed my mom into the kitchen to sit with him while he cooked, which meant so much to her and made the experience feel truly special and personal. The food was absolutely delicious. The arancini (rice balls) were incredible — crispy, flavorful, and a huge hit with everyone. For the main course, both the fish and chicken were outstanding, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Even my son, who is very picky, loved his meal and couldn’t stop talking about it — which says everything. Chef Danilo created an unforgettable evening with amazing food, a relaxed atmosphere, and thoughtful touches that made us feel like guests in his own home. He also left the kitchen spotless, which was the cherry on top. I would absolutely book him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a memorable private chef experience in Taormina.

Chef Danilo Ambrogio’s food is just fantastic and delicious. He brought us the incredibile tastes of his native Sicily - exactly what we wanted! A true professional, he is also a wonderful human being. I can’t wait to have him cook another meal for us.

Danilo is a Great Chef, who took our Family of 18 persons on a culinary trip. We truly enjoyed the dinners he prepared for us, during our holidays in Sicily. He has been kind, professional, very flexible, especially with our small kids around. Delicious food and great caring. We can only recommend!

The personal chef experience with Chef Danilo was beyond my expectations. We hired him to come to the Airbnb where we were staying. Three families were in Taormina to celebrate our 50th birthdays, and our experience was well over 5 stars! First of all, his communication skills were amazing. I don’t speak Italian, but he spoke excellent English and responded to all my questions very quickly. He proposed an incredible menu that catered to both vegetarians and meat-eaters. He arrived on time with all the ingredients, took a look around the house, and arranged the tables. Even with limited supplies and dishes, he washed all the wine glasses and plates before starting to cook. We asked for traditional Sicilian food, and every dish was absolutely delicious—fresh, sophisticated, creative, and satisfying. It was hands down the best meal of our trip to Sicily. He also left the kitchen and dishes spotless. I was so pleased and happy with his service. I highly recommend him—he’s the best!
