My culinary journey began at home, learning the soul of cooking from my mother, before refining my craft through years of experience working in various kitchens across Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands. These international experiences gave me a deep, hands-on understanding of diverse ingredients and global palates.

I am particularly specialized in Brunch and High Tea, where I combine gourmet flavors with refined presentation. For years, I have successfully balanced my career as a freelance graphic designer with my passion for high-end catering. This dual background gives me a unique aesthetic advantage: I approach every dish with a designer’s eye, ensuring that the visual composition is as exceptional as the flavor.

Maria and her team are phenomenal. Our meal was impeccable. Every dish was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. She was such a lovely addition to our event. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Chef Maria was fantastic! When I had questions about the menu, she was very responsive as well as flexible and innovative and came up with great ideas that amazed and met the dietary needs of all my guests. The dishes were not only delicious, but also colorful and assembled in a decorative and delightful manner befitting a grand party or top tier restaurant. She was very attentive and thought through the menu to provide wonderful local delicacies as per what my party desired and paced the courses perfectly so that they came out at the exact right time. After getting the lay of my kitchen, she instantly know what supplies to bring, provided her own utensils and helper, and left the cooking area in an immaculate clean condition when she was done. I highly recommend Chef Maria for any dinner plans as well as Take-A-Chef!

Maria and her friend came to our Airbnb house on the country side in Umbria. They had prepared a delicious and well balanced four course menu for 14 person. We highly recommend her. Thank you so much!
