I am a chef and cooking teacher, I do private culinary events, cooking classes, food tours and tastings. The GodFooder is my nickname.

I am a chef originally from Sardinia with a dash of Sicily in my veins.

I am also a culinary teacher, an Onaf master cheese taster and a member of the Slow Food Alliance of Chefs with whom I collaborate on cooking and educational projects.

In the kitchen I love to mix my gastronomic roots with the rest of the world, sharing knowledge and experiences, discovering and recovering popular traditions and flavors.

I am interested in all aspects related to food, from sensory analysis to nutrition, from sociality to environmental aspects. As an ethical and tasteful choice, I use only seasonal products, preferably organic, local, from a fair trade supply chain and Slow Food presidia.

I prefer a modern cooking method, fast but relaxed, preserving flavors, colors and nutrients, enhancing taste sensations with spices and herbs.

Perfect ????

Chef Matteo prepared a wonderful four course meal over three hours long for our family of eight when we visited from the Piedmonte district. There was a mix of dishes we had never experienced and familiar ones done extremely well. Recommend highly! Not only was his food spectacular but he was so easy to work with. He made the whole evening a very special and enjoyable memory for our family.

Nous étions 6 amies réunies pour un enterrement de vie de jeune fille, et nous avons passé un moment absolument génial grâce au chef Matteo. Il a été très sympathique, professionnel et chaleureux tout au long de l’expérience. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le fait qu’il nous fasse participer à la préparation des pâtes fraîches, ce qui a rendu le moment encore plus convivial et mémorable. Le menu était tout simplement excellent, avec des plats savoureux et parfaitement exécutés. Matteo a également su s’adapter avec beaucoup d’attention aux contraintes alimentaires de chacune, ce qui a été grandement apprécié. Nous recommandons ce chef les yeux fermés et avons déjà gardé son contact pour une prochaine occasion. Encore un grand merci à lui pour cette superbe expérience !

Molto positiva

Chef Matteo is an excellent chef and a pleasure to have in our home in the Piedmont. We had a lovely appetizer of stuffed vegetables, beautifully presented Tajarin, cod and a delicious Bunet for dessert. All were well done and beautifully presented. Thank you Chef for a lovely evening!

Great chef. We had a great time. Chef Matteo even shared cooking tricks with us! I would highly recommend him.

Matteo was wonderful! He cooked a four course meal for our family of twelve at our Italian villa and the food was delicious. He puts a lot of pride into the dishes he creates with high quality ingredients and beautiful plating. I highly recommend hiring him as a private chef for your next event or family gathering.
