Foodie with a passion for home cooking
I started to work in restaurants when I was 18 and I haven’t stopped since. My first start in the hospitality industry was being a busser then moving to fry cook/oyster shucker at the same restaurant.
From working in rural Kentucky restaurants, to a Courtyard Marriott in New Braunfels, my experience has been a journey. Picking up local cuisine, Baton Rouge drew my eye because not only of my love for LSU, but for the food as well.
In Baton Rouge, I had my first crawfish boil, found the area’s love of daquiris, and the cuisine outside classical southern cuisine such as thai or greek that have influenced the area as well.
Currently working at Martin Wine Cellar in the newly opened deli, I have the option to do wine pairings selected by the wine experts there.
While I do learn about local cuisine, my main strengths are Mexican and Italian.

He was very well organized, professional, and friendly. The food was top notch!! It felt like we were in an upscale restaurant. He was definitely the man for the job!!! Oh, and the food was very delicious!!!
