Get to know me better
I'm a chef that prides myself on flavor first.
Raised in Austin, Texas and located in Maui, Hawaii since 2004. I am a proud graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, New York 2000. After school I worked in numerous small restaurants and then spent 10 years working at the Four Seasons as a lead cook and sous chef. Since going independent in 2013, I have been busy working as a private chef, full time caterer and I run a Texas style BBQ business as well.
In the kitchen I pull on regional influences from every place I have lived, from Santiago, Chile to Texas and Hawaii. Stylistically I do everything from scratch from start to finish as a matter of principle, and enjoy cooking to my strengths when approaching a meal.
I enjoy conversation, cooking for a crowd and telling people all about what I have learned about Hawaii, from food to culture and places to visit.
