Get to know me better

Trans chef living in Western North Carolina. I would love to share my food with you.

I have worked in fine dining for a little more than a decade. Mostly working in New York and Los Angeles. I moved to North Carolina 3 years ago to help open the highly acclaimed restaurant Neng Jr.'s in Asheville. I acted as sous chef there for 2 years. Most recently I managed the kitchen at Pilgrim's Inn, in Deer Isle, Maine. We were one of New York Times' Best New Restaurants of 2025.

I have a lot of intimate relationships with local producers in North Carolina. I would love to share their bounty with you.

Craft and communication. Cooking isn't a selfless act for me, whatever you want to eat, I am excited to relish in the finess of it's creation.

I learned to cook at...

I found mentorship at the one Michelin Star Pok Pok Ny in Brooklyn, New York. My mentor there passed me on to her mentor at the steakhouse St. Anselm.

A cooking secret...

I love to use locally foraged ingredients. Ramps, wildflowers, and wild garlic.
