Get to know me better

Culinary professional of 20+ years, with an eclectic cooking style and love for pastry arts

I am a culinary and food service professional with over 20 years experience in various aspects of food and beverage. I attended culinary school at the Art Institute of NYC, where I I graduated in 2007 with an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Art & Restaurant Management, as well as Pastry Arts. I went on to pursue many positions from NYC down to Miami. I prepped lobsters at the famous Lundy’s of Brooklyn and I was in charge of gelato/sorbet production at The Fontaine Bleau in Miami Beach. I have been in charge of pastry banquets of up to 1500 people! My culinary education took me to a lot of places for which I am forever grateful. Once I became a mother, I worked briefly in hospital food service- preparing and producing foods in accordance with dietary needs of over 500 patients as well as a cafeteria that fed anywhere from 150-500 people a day. And most recently, I am a homebaker and school food lead cook. This position allows me to be there for my children, and the summers off save me thousands on summer camp. I am also an avid gardener that loves incorporating what I grow into what I create in the kitchen. I have been cooking and baking both professionally and domestically for a very long time. I believe food is my love language and there is nothing more rewarding than feeding the people you care about amazing food that brings them joy. I also enjoy fine dining, so being able to regularly have that in my own home is something I am so grateful for. I would love to share my talent with a regular client(s) but I do not desire the baggage of a restaurant. If you are looking for a private chef that can meet your needs in a variety of ways; including but not limited to- meal planning, dietary plans, family meals, fine dining, everyday dinners, special occasion catering or baked goods- I look forward to meeting you!
