Get to know me better

Lifelong chef since age 4, crafting experiences rooted in place, season, and the belief that great food transforms you from the inside.

I started cooking at age 4, and turned professional at 13. Since then, I've spent a lifetime in kitchens of every kind—from burger joints to Michelin-starred restaurants—absorbing the craft from every angle.

For me, food is the expression of the union between self and environment. My cooking is inspired by the time and place where I am, drawing from my favorite cuisines: American, Vietnamese, French, Japanese, Italian, Moroccan, Indian, and Modernist.

After a lifetime pursuing mastery of ingredients and techniques, I've come to believe that the most significant changes happen inside the chef or the diner. I would rather teach someone how to truly taste and appreciate food than almost anything else. From there, the palate becomes your guide.

My role is to illuminate different paths, offer you the tools, and give you the push to start your own journey. Happy cooking!

More about me

For me, cooking is...

...the expression of the union between self and environment—a language of place, time, and the inner journey of both chef and diner.

I learned to cook at...

...age 4, and professionally at 13. From burger joints to Michelin-starred kitchens, every environment taught me something irreplaceable.

A cooking secret...

...teaching people to truly taste and appreciate. Once your palate awakens, it becomes your guide. My job is to show you the paths.
