Crafting honest food, with a Southern Soul.
I grew up in a kitchen that never really slept. My earliest memories are filled with the smell of cornbread in the oven, a pot of beans simmering on the stove, and my mom teaching me how to taste before I could walk. My grandfather showed me how to clean a fish, my grandmother passed down her cookbooks — pages splattered and worn from years of love — and somewhere in all that, I fell in love with cooking.
Over the years I turned that love into a life, spending more than two decades cooking in restaurants, building menus, and feeding people all across Western North Carolina. I’ve cooked for crowds and for quiet tables of two, but what’s always mattered most to me is that food brings people together.
My style is simple: real ingredients, honest cooking, and a story behind every bite. I like dishes that feel alive — grounded in where we are and who we’re sharing them with.
