15 years of professional industry experience. I specialize in Korean/Japanese food, but have worked many cuisines. Currently in Alaska until October .
I come from a multicultural background and draw inspiration from my experiences. I have been a food industry professional for 15 years. I have taken the roll of chef, butcher, farm hand, forager and everything in between. Most of my career has been focused in Richmond, VA and San Francisco, CA. I like to travel and see what people are doing with food around the world. Nature, foraging, fishing, farming and hunting are big influences. I am looking to connect people through food. I run a Japanese/Korean style kushiyaki pop-up from time to time with a grill I designed and welded. I am currently chef at a remote lodge in southwest Alaska and scheduling post September.
