Based in the vibrant city of Philadelphia, I bring over 12 years of experience in the culinary world, blending classical training with soulful hospitality. From large-scale events to intimate dinners, my mission is simple: to create food that comforts, connects, and leaves a lasting impression.

I proudly serve as a Residential Chef Manager at Drexel University, where I lead culinary teams, inspire student dining experiences, and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety. I also hold the title of Executive Chef, having managed operations in hotels, healthcare systems, and private institutions — always with a focus on creativity, consistency, and care.

A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, my background spans the magic of Walt Disney World, the intensity of Marriott banquet service, and the grace of high-end catering. In 2015, I launched Risse’s Peace and Delight Catering Company, where I offer private dining and luxury catering experiences for guests of all walks — from quiet romantic dinners to vibrant celebrations for 100+.

Whether I'm crafting a plated tasting menu, brunch with Belgian waffles and lamb, or a global fusion buffet, I bring heart, heritage, and hospitality to every dish.
