I bring passion and heart to every dish, using fresh ingredients and bold flavors to create memorable dining experiences.
I’ve been cooking for more than 40 years, beginning my culinary journey in 1976. Born and raised in South Carolina with a Gullah Geechee heritage, food has always been a part of my roots and my life. My background is Southern, but my passion for flavor inspired me to master cross-cultural cuisines and create dishes that bring people together.
Throughout my career, I’ve cooked for incredible people, including President Gerald Ford and MLB legend Kirby Puckett. I’ve worked in restaurants, developed menus, cooked in country clubs, and provided private catering for clients who appreciate creativity and soul in every dish.
I love creating elevated main courses filled with depth and character. Grilling, crafting soups, and building rich, flavorful sauces are some of my specialties. Every plate I create reflects my belief that food should be bold, heartfelt, and unforgettable.
