Husband and wife chef duo with an extreme love and passion for the culinary arts.
We are a husband and wife Chef duo with a combined 25+ years experience in the restaurant industry. Dreena studied Culinary Arts and graduated with their associate's degree from Seattle Culinary Academy in 2013. They have worked at several well known restaurants in Seattle, such as Lola, Bastille, and Chinooks. Dustin has spent the last 17 years working in several different restaurants in Nashville but primarily honing his pizza knowledge and skills. He is currently the Sous Chef for the Nashville Predators.
Together we make up Carpe Pizza, a mobile wood fired pizza experience.
We do naturally leavened, wood fired pizza brought to you! Our oven travels with us and is portable enough to set up in virtually any location.
Naturally leavened means that our dough is made without any added yeast, and with our very own sourdough starter. Being that our pizzas are sourdough and all natural, this means they are easier to digest. Which means more pizza!!!!!!
We are both trained and seasoned chefs and we offer more than just pizza!
We can do wonderful appetizers such as veggie sides, salads, and entrées as well!
Our biggest focus at Carpe Pizza is on using the freshest, local ingredients that we can find. We will source as many of our ingredients as possible from local farms at farmer's markets and butchers.
