Chef Mia Chavez

Cooking has always been a central part of my life. I began working in my family’s food truck at just 14, helping with cooking, prep, and even creating recipes. My family also runs a catering business, where I continue to cook, prep, and serve for events of all sizes. Growing up in a Hispanic household, I learned that cooking for someone is one of the most special ways to show love. Food has always brought me comfort and happiness, and I aim to share that feeling with others through my cooking. Inspired by my Japanese relatives, I also developed a passion for Asian cuisine, learning to prepare a variety of traditional dishes alongside my family’s recipes. I love creating unique meals that combine flavors from different cultures, with the goal of making people feel cared for, comforted, and truly at home.
