My cooking practice centers on seasonal and local ingredients, influenced by my love for travel and cross-cultural flavors and references
I have been a foodie since I was a child. Through my teens, I worked for a farm-to-table catering business which inspired me to pursue a bachelors degree in food sustainability and sociology. Since completing school in 2018, I have cooked in restaurants in San Francisco, Mexico City, Chicago, and Milwaukee. For the past 1.5 years I was mentored by Chef Karen Bell of Bavette La Boucherie, until the unfortunate closing of her restaurant this past winter due to familial obligations. I am now reassessing my career in the restaurant industry and pursuing self-employment.
