Chef Rob Ritchie is phenomenal. Such a pleasant, friendly, professional person to work with. Collaborating with him was a delight. He spent a good, long time working out a menu with me and came up with creative solutions for my husband’s very particular palate. He also made accommodations and substitutions for our many guests with dietary restrictions, impressively keeping track of which guest had which food limitations. Chef Rob was accessible during the planning process, quick to respond by phone, text, or email. He was excellent the night of my husband’s special birthday dinner for 8, explaining the food and swiftly, silently ensuring perfect timing for each course. He was gregarious, but reserved and focused when he was in the kitchen preparing the meal. The food was exceptionally good - our guests raved about the crab cakes, his marvelous salad dressing, his halibut dish, and the star of the night: the largest, most perfectly seasoned and cooked double pork chops we’d ever encountered. My one word of advice to Chef Rob is that he take care in his choice of serving staff. His server stank of cigarettes, broke a carafe of ours, interrupted my husband’s birthday speech, and froze up when asked to set the table or mix a batch of cocktails or clean up the shattered carafe. That said. Chef Rob stepped in every time to put things right. Server aside, the evening was loads of fun, and my hyper-critical foodie husband was absolutely delighted with his birthday dinner.
I have already tried two Chefs in Almeria and I have to admit that both are great. In this case, I would highlight the elaboration of the dishes. Amazing

I wanted to surprise my guests and I certainly did. The mushroom risotto and truffle was spectacular.
