I grew up cooking with my grandmother and later on in my career started working in professional kitchens. Going from state to state every two years I learned how to cook different cuisines.

After working as the Executive Sous Chef for the Indianapolis Colts, I decided to start my own catering business.

Chef D made our anniversary very special! This was our first experience with a private chef and he went beyond all expectations. Extremely personable and the food was incredible, easily the best crab cakes we have ever had. You can't go wrong working with Chef D!

This was my very first time hiring a private chef, I was pleasantly surprised how smooth this app was to navigate through and the amazing Chefs available to choose from. Choosing Chef Decardios Denson was easy! His food was well presented and DELICIOUS, even our picky eaters couldn’t stop talking about it! Even better than his food, was his professionalism and personality. We are having another get together for a Halloween party and have already rebooked Chef D for that. We plan to use him exclusively for our events in the future. In short, we HIGHLY recommend Chef D, you wont be disappointed!

A special experience

We hired chef Decardios to cook up something very special for our wedding anniversary. The pace of the dinner was perfect, the menu was very unusual and the taste was delightful. An absolute dream!

Decardios Denson was wonderful from start to finish for my mother’s birthday dinner. I originally chose him because his proposed menu was the only one I received that actually seemed to take into account the additional information I gave in my chef request. And I’m so glad we chose him. The dinner was absolutely delicious and unique: exactly what we wanted to celebrate a special birthday. He was a pleasure to work with and a pleasure to have in our home.

Chef was extremely engaging and flexible with the menu, due to my dietary restrictions (being diabetic). He created several iterations of the final menu and sent me the final menu in the chat of the "Take a Chef" application. Food was delicious and was provided plenty of leftovers. I truly appreciated this experience and will be calling him in the future!
